House and Training News

The home inspection went well, no deal breakers, just some things that need to be fixed. We are waiting to hear back from the sellers, they have until Friday to let us know their thoughts... we shall see! After this we have the appraisal to get thru but then we should be good to go! Exciting times.

I had my second training class tonight, it was fun. I was A LOT less nervous so it was more fun for all involved. Yay!
It's fun to watch the dogs work, I must admit! I am still learning and I have to remember that I will be learning all throughout this process.

This weekend I have a seminar both Saturday and Sunday with a trainer who I LOVE! It sucks that I will be up early both days, but it will be worthwhile I believe. She just makes me a believer every time I hear her speak. Love.

Happy Wednesday peeps!

Getting up early has it's positives. The older I get, the earlier I arise--eager to meet the new day!

The Appraisal should be a piece of cake. Glad there was nothing major to
fix and the sellers should hop to it. Just think, You will soon be a homeowner with land!!

The sellers were dragging their feet and didn't agree to some of the fixes we wanted. BUT Ron is so passive that he's fine with it. I did push and get one thing fixed that was bothering me, so I guess I need to consider that a win. Annnnd I am really afraid that the house won't appraise for what the selling price is, then the sellers won't adjust for our loan... we shall see.

Even when it's something you love, any job can be difficult at times. I bet there will always be something new to learn as each dog brings you new challenges. You are gonna be the hottest trainer out there in no time!

Dog trials with the obstacle courses are very popular in Colorado - are they big in your area, too? I've seen similar events for cats, but they are an entirely different thing.

Agility is big everywhere I think. I always wonder though --- is the dog having as much fun when the human is super competitive?
