Cessna's Houses and Business

I am watching the news right now about how an 80 year old lady landed her husbands plane after he passed away at the controls. Can you imagine? How traumatic. But she did it, and did it well. Cessna's scare me. My pal crashed in a plane 5 (or was it 6?) years ago and was the only survivor, so ever since then I decided I will never go into a small plane. Uh uh no way! She is one of the people I think of when I think of Obama care. Insurance companies laugh at her when she requests a quote. It's NOT HER FAULT she has pre existing conditions, you know? Not fair.

In house news, we finally came to an agreement on the home inspection. It's always such a battle! And Ron is so passive... I felt like I needed to step up to provide the back bone --- and we did get one more thing we wanted, although we let two big(ish) things go. At least there wasn't anything MAJOR I guess. So now we have to get thru the appraisal and all will be well. I hope.

I am working on building my business. I realized how much I spent last year trying to get started - WOW! I didn't bring in a dime but certainly spent like I was rich. Oh well. I will hopefully make up for it this year...

I am excited for the weekend. There is not much going on which will be fantastic. Last weekend I was at a training seminar - it was FANTASTIC! But this weekend will be more about starting to pack and just relaxing. I can't wait.

Happy weekend peeps!

I once flew in a small airplane piloted by an ex-student who was 16-17 yrs old when we went up! I was somewhat anxious (as in anxiety)! When we landed, we discovered we had a flat tire!. Whew.

Happy Easter. There are always things to do when you own a home. I am
a haggler. Ted is too easy.

Sometimes Donna has on the tube those "House Hunter" programs on (I think) HGTV. I'll catch a few words here and there, usually the part about how somebody is arguing over a few grand and then saying, "but I hope we don't lose the deal". I'm not one to talk to the TV (usually), but if you want it, pay for it! Geez... some people are just too funny. They have the ideak from god-knows-where that they have to haggle over the price of a house. Oh well... and I'm not suggesting that you did anything like that.... I don't have a clue about the deal you're doing.

that is EXACTLY what we did. I wanted them to fix wood rot on the house and some other things, but they aren't going to. Bleh. Oh well!
