Hope

Some days I love that word, others I think it's a waste of time. Today I love it!

I received a call at lunch time from a place that wants to interview me for something other than Admin stuff. YAY! I can hardly wait to see what transpires.

Alas, Ms. SB just pointed out that they might be involved in animal testing. Grrr. I will hafta investigate into this to see what the dealio is. I of course hope they do not, but I don't know if I would be able to work for a company that supports that... in fact I know I wouldn't be able to work for a company that supports that.

Why is life so complicated?

Regardless, I am happy it's Friday. HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!

Kristy, I love the fact you "stick to your morals"! I pretty much do too, but although I know KFC treats chickens bad, I still eat their chicken. Heck, if I had to investigate every "company" that processes food I eat.. I'd never eat. Do you drink "milk"? How are those cows treated.. do you eat "Rice"? Where does that come from... what little kid in China is was forced to harvest it? The point is Kristy.. your intentions are nobel. And I am definetely AGAINST mis-treatment of animals. But I wouldn't stake a job on it if I was you. Hell, maybe you could change peoples opinions more from "inside" a company, then out. Just a thought! Gary

Alas, I have also pointed out that the advertisers in the papers in the company that you work for also do Animal testing and they therefore pay your salary, one step removed, just as this new place is. A career which does have some positivity and meaning would be stellar. Weigh all your options and make a list of pros and cons, at the end of the day you have to live with it.

Let's hope they never did it or at the very least stopped testing animals. I have HOPE!
Happy Halloween!

There are different groups in our building. Some time back, beforeI was there, one group did some animal work. I didn't know about it until later. It's history now.

That's a good question.

Do your research. Hopefully you'll like what you learn about the company.
