I just found out from the butcher that the mass is a lipoma, which is a fatty mass - aka he didn't need surgery in the first place.
AAAAHHHHHHHH

My brother has got a fatty mass, but we call it a beer gut.
There was a reason for all of this, because that's the way I roll. I am glad that it was good news.
Good grief. Hope you had a nice weekend.
PS I told you so! HAHAHA
Interesting...
Have a good one, hon.
Can the new vet get the same results as the old one? I think I'd feel better about all of it if the new vet looked at it too. I hate that you and Kraymer had to go thru all this... What does the site look like today? Any more blood? Ooozing?
And so it goes Kristy...some vets are quick to do surgery unfortunately simply, because of the bottom line...money. I hope you take some time to look for a compassionate vet...I always look to see if they take notice of our puppies more then us when we arrive and they talk to them. We were taking our dogs to a daycare that also had vets there. One day our female got attacked by a dog. They said it happened so fast they couldn't do anything. She was a bit ripped up...a lot of stitches. They gave us an incredible run around. I finally talked to the lady who was there when it happened because our dogs loved going there. I said, Laurie, if this was your dog, would you bring her back there, and she said definitely and apologized. Two months later our female was attacked again? This time the dog got her around the neck pretty good. After my wife picked them up, I called them and they said it was a mixed breed that attacked her this time? However, when my wife took her to get some stitches out a gentleman came up to ask how she was. Guess what, it was the same dog that attacked her the first time...incredible. Thay lied...and after that. wouldn't talk to us...
I'm so sorry. What a dunce!!!! Never ever go back. You did the right thing
How has the bleeding been today? I hope that since it opened and he bleed so much this morning that he is much better now. If he hadn't had the surgery, you would still be worried that it was something bad. It has been the pits, I know, but you can rest easy now finding that it was a fatty tumor.
Sorry, sweetheart! Hope you have a great weekend!
well this is very typical of the first type. The first thing thats come to mind is this cancerous. They cannot tell unless they do the surgery. But the good news is only fatty but no reason for all this mess that is happening to Kraymer.
