Stuff ...

Starting tomorrow, not much is open until Tuesday. I may wander down to Hobby Lobby Saturday. Need some smallish square canvas.

Another holiday weekend by myself. Lots of those the past few years.

Maybe I can bag up a few tons of this cathair and put it up for sale.

Here's the finished milk can I painted as one of my donated items for the Tiffin Art Guild fundraiser auction June 10th.

Personal stuff is getting to me. So many damned things that I've put off because I have so many other personal things underway. That's called a conundrum.

I AM a conundrum.

The cats are fine. We "weathered" the many many storms. I am always weathering.

I am going to go for more dark dark chocolate because the Welbutrin bottle is empty.

Sigh.

Love the artwork on the can -- it's beautiful. Sounds like you feel overwhelmed. Try to work against down mood by thinking positive. It really does help.

Does chocolate give the same fix as Welbutrin? If so, I've been wasting a heck of a lot of money on anti-depressants.

I have two milk cans given to me by a farmer friend years ago. They both have potted plants sitting in them. Neither has been "refurbished". You've got me thinking...

The piece is lovely — your contribution will brighten someone's home and heart!

I, too, am buried in things to do and often overwhelmed. One little step at a time. Joining you at the dark dark chocolate pharmacy.

I love your milk can and I love sunflowers. They are so happy and bright.
I have spent holiday weekends alone so I know the feeling. In fact, I
don't like holidays because they mean life cannot proceed as usual.

Sometimes being alone gets to me too. Other times I'm glad that I don't have to accommodate someone else. Love the can. Can't find them here.

That's a lovely can. You always come up with something clever for the fund raisers.

I am glad you made it through the storms pretty much ok. I saw the post about your car, but didn't get a chance to respond to it. I hope things work out with your insurance company.
Like you, I have been in a funk the last few weeks. I hope it gets better.
I think the milk can came out awesome!

Though being retired every weekend is a long weekend it is a bit different when it is a holiday long weekend--and as I always say though alone I am not lonely--going to see the "Pirates" movie and a bite to eat after with my friend Allen today--Sunday will spend the afternoon at the Home Show--rest of weekend putter with my indoor plants, go to the pool, read, relax and walk around and talk to neighbors--oh yes though we have 2 BIG celebrations at beach and a hip-hop 'convention' in Miami Beach you won't find me at either.

Allen will probably get a $2.50 or more beverage with his bite to eat, and Martin will have water.

The milk can is beautiful ..they should have no problem getting a nice price for it..
You should bag up the cat fur, some woman spin it and make yarn with it and use it to knit sweaters
Sorry you are so depressed

Antique can. Bought it at an auction a few years ago. $15. I love the antiqued green finish so I sanded it down and varnished it before I painted the sunflowers, then double varnished because the event is auctioning yard, patio and garden items. I thought this would fit.
