Hot
or cold, sunny or rainy, night or day, cloudy or clear skies there is
one place that is always peaceful. Just a few blocks from one of the
busiest avenues in Fort Lauderdale you don't hear traffic, city living
or honking horns. You will, once in awhile, hear a siren but otherwise the city is shut out. At night the
stars sparkle in the sky while the moon is reflected over the water.
During the day you see yachts, kayaks, canoes, standing up paddle
surfers and water jets with planes passing over head with banners selling hotels, bars, nightclubs, all celebrating the life on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
On
any afternoon you can get in the pool, float on your back, and within
minutes you feel like you are on the property of the Great Gatsby
surrounded by multi- million dollar homes with their assorted boats and
yachts. For time you can imagine you hit the lottery and this is all
yours.
Most
of these pictures were taken yesterday which was a cloudy day but even
then you feel you own the world and are master of all around you.
Someday I will have to learn how to take pictures at night and share
those glorious sights with you and what Mother Nature can do in the dark
with a full moon and/or lightening.
I love my life and where I live!
