Yup, on top of a week that has already been rather crappy...I got the kids' cold and feel real crummy today!

I didn't even get a coffee this morning because I didn't think it would taste good or feel good on my throat. That's how lousy I felt. But by 3rd period I wished I would have drank it anyway because the lack of caffeine was making it hard for me to even stay awake. I went for an ice cold soda on my way to the high school and then I sucked on vitamin c drops until I ran out of the little stash I had in my pocket.

It would have been the ideal day (sick, freezing cold) to come home and snuggle up with the dogs for a nap, but it wasn't in the cards. I picked Kevin up from school to save time, brought him to his tutor, visited with my sister for about 10 minutes, went back to get Kev, brought Andy to dance, went to the bank to cash a check, realized I couldn't find my license so couldn't cash the check and....
ran out of gas on my way back home (because I didn't have money because of the whole check thing).

Speaking of gas...propane to be exact..
That was a gift for me when I got home. A new propane delivery along with a $350 bill. I just had it filled a little over a month ago and the cold weather has hardly even hit!

Ouch again...
I really hope that Santa Claus does exist!
