Don't say I didn't warn you. folks let me tell you, the flu is an awful thing. It takes all of your energy on top of all the aches, pains and fever. Therefore, I had not showered in days. Yes you heard me, I had not showered. My nose was congested so I couldn't smell anything. I am surprised hubby didn't throw me in the shower and just pour soap all over me. I took the longest, hottest shower of my life today. My hair was just plain nasty, could hardly get a comb through it. I never let myself get like that. I was tempted to ask hubby to wash my hair last night, but he got home so late I didn't want to bother him. I get out of the shower, dry off, get dressed. By this point I am huffing and puffing and have to sit down for a minute. I catch my breath, brush my teeth. Yes I also hadn't brushed my teeth in days, that gag reflex with the flu thing. Had to sit down again. Towel dried hair, and combed it, while sitting down. Feeling as I do I sure wasn't going to blow dry my hair and then straighten it like I normally do. So I put some mousse in. The strategy at this point is turn my head upside down and shake my head, releasing the curls. Yeah, I didn't think that would be such a great idea being light headed and my neck hurting. Could have caused severe whiplash. So I just scrunched it with my fingers. Mentally I feel 10 times better. I hate not showering! ugh! So while I am on a roll, I am going to wash sheets and blankets and clean up the cat room. So I am sorry if you came to my blog and got a whiff of something foul. It was just me.
