I am finally going to get my hair cut, I think. Depends who is working at the salon. I will be going to vote at some point today, checking on the lines and such. Watching news coverage of the election.
Its raining here and kind of chilly. Me, Kota and Stormy will be heading to walmart to amuse ourselves. Kota wants a raincoat, we need groceries and Stormy just needs to get out of the house. lol We went last night to walmart but only for a few things. Printer cartridges, paper and photo paper. I am printing off Kota in his costume for his tae kwon do Master. I put a caption on it, Ninja powers activated. hehehe I think he will love that.
I have to share a funny customer story. I had this one man in line and an older couple behind him. They are neighbors. The woman commented that he was buying food for his cat and said she must be the queen. The guy laughed and said, oh yes she is the queen just like her daddy. I was trying to keep from laughing, I really was. Then he looked at me and said, oh laugh sweetie, that was funny! When the older couple left I had to ask him if they got what he was saying. He just shrugged and said he doesn't keep it a secret and he wanted to throw a little shock value at them.
Have I mentioned how happy I will be when this election is all over?? Of course then we will have all the craziness post election as well. Can I just hide in a cave for a few months??
Before I let a new person cut my hair, I checked around. We have a hair salon in our walmart. So I asked another cashier if she ever gets her hair cut there. She told me no but that she knows several people who do and I should either get Charlie or Brenda. So what I will do is explain is the extreme unruliness of my curly hair and that I think it needs more layers cut into it. I will get their opinion and see how they react. I don't want alot of the length cut off, it has taken a long time to grow this hair! But the ends are pretty fried. Wish me luck that I don't have to kill a hair stylist.
I am hoping I see my friend John at walmart today. He is quite the artist and favors doing dragons. I would like to ask him to do a picture of Saphira from the Eragon books. I am so hooked on those books! I only wish they would make movies out of the other two books. And to think the author was 15 when he wrote Eragon! Simply amazing!
Also on the agenda is rearraging the living room. This set up is not working. We have wasted space and then the actual living area is crowded. I will get Stormy's opinion as she is very good at things like that, she is very creative.
Well I guess thats all the boring news for now.
I can't wait to see pictures of your new hair do...nothing feels better than a good haircut, although I wouldn't know anymore since I have the blasted almost dreads.
