We have a friend who loves the beach, every free day he has, he is at the beach. He has a surf tag and can drive his truck right up on the beach. Saturday and Sunday we went to the beach with him. His wife stayed home as she works overnights at the hospital and she needed some sleep. It sure helped improve my outlook and we all had a great time. Dakota and I had a wonderful time playing in the water. I normally don't go in the ocean. When I was a teenager I was at the beach with my family. I swam out and kind of got stuck out there, I guess because of riptides. I was waving and yelling but no one realized I was in distress. I finally made it back to land and just cried. I was so scared I was going to drown out there. Well the waves on Saturday were non-existent! It was so calm, like swimming in a pond. Yesterday the waves were a little higher, maybe 1 to 2 feet. I will share some pics with you all.
This week and next we have two important dates concerning the legal issues. On wednesday the scumbag gets his last chance at a plea bargain. Then the following wednesday is the trial. I already know we will be victorious! I already have plans for a big celebration on the 14th, going to a local bar to see some old friends of mine play. I used to follow their band everywhere back in the day.

Looks are deceiving. It looks very overcast and threatening but it was actually quite nice!
