Well my dear blog friends, my greatness has become official. Last night around 10:40 my grand-niece came into the world! I have only seen pictures so far, but she is a beautiful baby. I cannot wait to see her, hold her and start spoiling her, along with the rest of the family! The funny thing is, just the other day one of my friends at work showed me pictures of her grand-nephew. So I had to let her know today that we are both great!
It was crazy at work today! People with two cart fulls were the norm today! And it was mostly food! But the customers were great as usual. Even had one guy tell me I was a one woman show as my line was going faster than anyone else's.
My work day started out good, saw my buddy John. He commented that I looked really tired. I told him well I had some friends call me on the phone last night and I ended up talking until almost one in the morning. John shook his head and said I am not as young as I used to be. (its a running joke between us, my age and his age) Yes, I did punch him in the arm for that comment. LOL
The house is full once again as son is home for the weekend. I just love having the kids here! And Kota is in 7th heaven having his bubba here to pick on and sword fight with. Plastic swords of course. I have not heard from daughter this week, but that is normal. With her working and going to college she doesn't have much free time. But I will give her the usual mama check in call later tonight.
On this Saturday night in November, all is well in my world. And I want to thank you all for being such good friends, always encouraging and supportive. I hope you all know how much you mean to me. I wish you all a wonderful, relaxing weekend.
