When I think of my friends, it is the inside person that
I know and love. I really could care less about their looks,
monetary values or social status. I could probably count
my dearest friends on one hand but once you become my friend
you would have to get very toxic for me to abandon you.
Women are inclined to share burdens and trials with each
other. It is a treasured friend indeed who loves you despite
knowing some of the things you would never reveal to another
human being and who keeps that confidence.
Physical beauty fades with time and the circumstances of our
lives. Beauty can blind you temporarily and riches and wealth are dazzling but you can't build a life on either
thing. We are often puzzled when we see a couple that doesn't
seem to match but as we get to know them better we understand
the richness of the inner person.
We really cheat ourselves if we let fatness or skinnyness or
a plain face bar us from a friendship or a relationship.
We might be missing out on sheer treasure.
