MyBloggers Friends

I have met Jeramey "jerms" and his Jenny and they are a
delightful young couple. We discovered that they will be
neighbors living just a mile away. They are energetically
getting their home move in ready. It is amazing the way
blog friends personalities come through on the blog.

Other than that, life goes on it's merry way. I have to
make a trip to the post office. It is always a big dread
because there are long lines and it takes at least 20 minutes to mail a package.

I slept late this morning, knowing that I didn't have to
get Adrienne off to school. I have been worried about Adrienne's compulsive eating. I hope the habit disappears
now that Ellie is back home. Her endless trips to the refrigerator at night are a little disturbing, especially
with the genetic disposition we all have to be fat.

So wonderful that you got to meet Jeremy and Jenny. He's one of my personal favorites here. I wouldn't worry too much about Adrienne if she is still growing. Kids burn a lot of energy growing. Bailey got a little pudgy last summer; then she shot up five inches and slimmed right back down.

I do a lot of shipping and mailing on line with USPS. It is so much easier! You can buy stamps, mail packages- most anything that you do at the post office. With their "Click-n-Ship", I can even pay the postage on line.

I worry my small post office will be closed one of these days. No lines there. Hopefully your granddaughter will "see the light". It has to come from within.

Yes, and we almost always like each other.

Maybe your cooking tasted so good she couldn't believe it and had to keep getting just one more bite.

You should have seen her sneaky little trips to the Fridge! She is so
happy now with her peer group but if she gets fat they will be mean to her.
Ashley has already called her fat and hurt her feelings.

I agree with Fredo about the eating... Compulsions rarely just go away.

The goal of treatment is to find the root cause of the compulsive behavior so that the need to conquet serial compulsions can be eliminated.

Adrienne is prone to these. She has conquered nail biting and hair pulling but it was difficult and I hate to see her have to break another
habit.

well the post office is losing money and they are cutting back.
Get back to the compulsive eating?need to be checked out with her doctor to find out what going on with the system in her body.
They can tell.A few test will cleared this up.Good luck.

You are right. I am going to let her mother take care of it. She is
having a birthday sleep over this weekend and I don't want to ruin it
by bringing it up.

Have you looked for a UPS store or pack and mail? I find these to be FAR superior to the post office in terms of wait lines etc. Check it out. I would love to meet you!!! Hopefully someday!!!

I didn't even think about UPS. There is one not far from my house. Come
and see me anytime Kristy. I love meeting blog friends. I think that
we all know each other well by the time we get together.

I'm worried that our small rural post will close and not only will I have to drive further to pick up my mail and deal with tourist crowds, the employees at the bigger post office are in the union and don't care about serving the customers.
comment by troutbend on Apr 22, 2011 9:12 AM ()
Surely they won't if they are doing enough business. This was always a
threat in Asher. No, the big ones are pretty indifferent to their
customers but I think that just goes with being a postal employee.
