I woke up in a horrible mood this morning, I am sure part of
it was a bad dream that was never resolved in dream land.
The events of the day have made me ashamed of my moodiness.
I went to the local garden store and bought l0 bags of dirt.
They gave me 20 bags for the price of ten. Then when I was
unloading them with the help of a dolly, a perfect stranger
walked by and asked me if he could help. The doughnut shop
gave me extra doughnuts. Being so well treated was certainly
a mood lifter. Top that with the DVD that we are going to
watch at lunch time with Mae West and Gary Grant and it is
a good, good day. The movie is "She Done Him Wrong". We
find Mae West hilarious and always wonder how she got by
with the double entendre that is her trademark. So much
more subtle than the graphic language of today.
I am in such a good mood that I am going to use Kitchen
Tales recipe for snickerdoodles and put caramel chips in
them for Ted and Adrienne and Ashley.
Yesterday, after my pleading and Alfredo and Mike's urging
Ted got a hearing test. He is getting a hearing aid in
each ear which will certainly please him and liberate me
from endless repetition.
