We spent the day at the zoo yesterday after sussing out the
fact that it wasn't going to rain. We took a picnic and
drinks and sort of made a day of it. There was a lot we
didn't see, (don't tell Fredo).

We have a feisty baby elephant who loves to perform and
we watched he and his auntie enthusiastically do tricks.
one of the treats for auntie was a whole romaine lettuce.
I don't really approve of zoo's but it does help people
be aware of conservation and I can't deny that I love
seeing the animals.

This morning we went to the Red Earth Museum downtown.
I bought a poster by Quanah Parker Bowles, a descendent of
Quanah Parker. It is gorgeous.

We are going to the Oklahoma City Memorial museum tomorrow.
