I started my day at 6:30 watering and was doing errands by
8:10. Aside from a brief visit with my son, It took me until the thermometer reached l06 at l:30 to get home.
When I got home there was a huge box on my porch from my
friend, Laura. It was packed with practical cookbooks for
Sara and baby washcloths and the kind of dish cloths that she knits that I love, a good book and dog biscuits for Rex.
If Sara can't manage with the four ingredient cookbook, she
needs discipline ...like never getting to eat out. Ted
wants one for when he is alone but Bobby has other plans for
him which I can't reveal..Oh well, I'll tell you anyway, he
is going to fix him up with his stepmother and kill two
birds with one stone. Not that I plan on leaving this world
soon but I am not in denial. It's gonna happen.
I was so cheered and grateful for her thoughtfulness and
Rex ate her dog biscuit...the rat ingrate dog that he is.
Blog friends are so real to me and so present in my life.
I think of you all and the few that I have met have certainly lived up to my expectations.
Thank you Eddie for our little group.
