I enjoy moonlight nights but the dawn is even better. It is a new day and a new start. It is a magical time for me. I get up early and watch the sunrise while my coffee perks, savoring the time alone. Ted is sleeping, the dogs have been put out and I feel the energy of the sunrise. The colors are a delightful mix of coral and peach and soft blue gray.
We are thinking about the family reunion in October and hoping the out of state cousins can come. We have such small families and it is a lot more fun with them. I simply cannot believe that the summer flew by and we are thinking autumn thoughts. The stores already have Halloween decorations and I saw a woman buying witch hats and brooms for her grand daughter yesterday.
The leaves are beginning to fall here. They scrunched under my feet when I walked in the woods yesterday. Fall has its delights but it is too short a season.
