The euphoria, the romance, the can't eat feeling and the
ability to go without sleep. Utter bliss! I always wonder
what forces instantly bond two people together. Pheremones
and hormones must surely have a lot to do with it. It is
sort of a universal craving and it makes love junkies out
of a lot of people who flit from partner to partner.

I have only experienced the craziness twice but I am so
glad that I did. I have been thinking about how insane
Ted and I were about each other because it is almost time
for our 25th anniversary. It was an unlikely match and it
leads me to believe that horoscopes may be right. Acquarians both times. Ted was extremely handsome in a
dangerous way and built like a Greek God. Our interests
were much the same and we talked endlessly. I admired
his fine mind. He took me to meet his mother on our second
date.

We have had our ups and downs because of course the intense
stage can't last. We would have died from lack of sleep.
We gained weight from contentment and regular meals. We
have aged together as people inevitably do. Some of our
tastes are not the same. I like to be with people a lot
and Ted has become a little reclusive. He is an auditory
learner and has to have auditory in put. I am a visual
person and have to read a lot. We have learned to give each
other enough space for seperate interests.

Ted is interested in science and I am interested in history.
We both love to travel and love art and the humanities.
We share a love for all kinds of music.

It has been a great 25 years.
