Counting Sheep

I guess most of us suffer from a bit of insomnia now and
then but I have been getting up early also. If I run my errands before 9 a.m. I don't get so hot. I am trying to
walk again and the earlier the better.

Today I went to the grocery store, to Kohls to spend my twenty dollars in Kohls cash which I got for buying Ted two new pairs of jeans and then to the bank. I did well at Kohls getting a Ralph Lauren shirt for Bobby and two designer sweaters for myself. I only had to spend l5.00 of
my own money. Kohls is now opening at eight a. m. to get
early birds into the store.

Ellie and I had a complicated financial transaction and I was able to tend to and then walk in my front door at 9a.m.
I forgot to say that I watered before I went.

Ellie's school in Moore starts August 16 and it is almost upon us. I am looking forward because I have missed them
especially Adrienne. She is letting her hair grow long and
she is getting prettier every day.

Ted has been working in the yard a lot because it is helping him get his strength back. The only thing I
have against exercise is that it requires a lot of work and
is productive only in an esthetic sense.

Wish I could be your personal trainer. You'd be touching the floor in no time.

Hi jeri; Tea keeps me awake; even decaf tea, though coffe isn't that bad about causing insomnia. I've found there's no use to lie there and try to force yourself to sleep, so might as well get up and read etc.
PS you and stay hydrated, okay?

jeri; I meant to say you and Ted stay hydrated, okay?

Traffic fumes and concrete jungles really contribute to the heat. I am walking on the treadmill today and it is very boring. I over slept and
by 8 am it was already too hot.

Glad to hear Ted is improving. While you are up and about in the AM, I am still sleeping. Of course, I am up and about while you sleep at night.

I made the mistake once of giving Kohl's my email address. I get promo info from them EVERY day! The only thing I buy from them is running shoes.
Anyway, glad to hear everything is going well for you and Ted.

I know how irritating it is to get e mails every day that you don't want.

I got so bored with my park routine that I started doing wake up stretches at home. It takes an hour, then breakfast, then already it's 9 so I am not getting out early. But if I take a bottle of water with me I do better and can walk in the sun. I spoke with a New York City friend today. She tells me they have had temps over 100 for several days in a row. That's insane. And it's worse in the city because of the traffic fumes.

I admire your stretches routine because it gives one so much flexability.
I am surprised that I can no longer touch the floor when I do waist
exercises. I am working on that as well as better balance.
