The Celabratory Month

Rex had to go out at 1 a.m. and I never got back to sleep. I
am on my second breakfast of guacamole and chips and one Fig
Newton. I had to show some restraint.

Ashley will be here this morning so I can take her to school.
Nine is a sweet age. My grand Niece is the same age and she
is a joy to be around too. They were born within a week of
each other.

With luck, I won't have to leave the house today except to
deliver and pick up grandchildren. I am going to have to
go to the grocery store and be certain that I have all
the ingredients for chicken enchiladas for Bobby's birthday
tomorrow. This month is full of celebrations. We have
Bobby's birthday, Valentines day, Our anniversary and Ted's
birthday all in February. It is a bit much. Ted gets
carrot cake on his birthday but I haven't thought of a present
yet.

I just let Rex out and saw that he had done even more excavating last night. I can't fix it until it gets warmer.
The backyard is on the north side of the house. I have more leaves to rake up too. I really miss Ted's help. It
made these projects so much easier. We used to have a
teen age kid that hired out around the neighborhood but he
must have moved.

That's enough from dullsville. Check us out later.

Healthy breakfast! All the food groups. Fruit, veg and carbs.

The backyard must have been calling to Rex in the night - "must dig, must dig" was going through his doggy brain. Full moon, you know.

my son's birthday is also this month! I've been telling him that this summer he needs to go around and see if any of our neighbors need help. we have quite a few elderly people leaving near us. and i told him even if they can't afford to pay him he should still do it.

Far from dull lady. And YUUUUUM guacamole! I love that stuff... and it's good for ya! I am sure there is someone else you can hire for your yard. You should look into it.

Age is catching up with Ted faster than it is with you. These are such trying times for you. Don't let them get you down. Hang on to your joy and zest for life.

Guacamole and chips? Restraint? Sorry Ted isn't up to working with you on stuff. Maybe you can look for another young fellow who is willing to do some work. Ask around. Ed and I were married on my birthday -- I don't know why I wanted it that way. So we go to a fancy dinner on that one evening.
