Rex had to go out at 1 a.m. and I never got back to sleep. I
am on my second breakfast of guacamole and chips and one Fig
Newton. I had to show some restraint.
Ashley will be here this morning so I can take her to school.
Nine is a sweet age. My grand Niece is the same age and she
is a joy to be around too. They were born within a week of
each other.
With luck, I won't have to leave the house today except to
deliver and pick up grandchildren. I am going to have to
go to the grocery store and be certain that I have all
the ingredients for chicken enchiladas for Bobby's birthday
tomorrow. This month is full of celebrations. We have
Bobby's birthday, Valentines day, Our anniversary and Ted's
birthday all in February. It is a bit much. Ted gets
carrot cake on his birthday but I haven't thought of a present
yet.
I just let Rex out and saw that he had done even more excavating last night. I can't fix it until it gets warmer.
The backyard is on the north side of the house. I have more leaves to rake up too. I really miss Ted's help. It
made these projects so much easier. We used to have a
teen age kid that hired out around the neighborhood but he
must have moved.
That's enough from dullsville. Check us out later.
