Ted went outside to take some photos and the brakes on his
walker failed. I am in the hospital most of the time. We
have a wonderful neurosurgeon and I no sooner ask for something than it is done. His ear drum was broken and his
skull fractured and while they have him they may operate on
his lumbar spine. We have a consult with the neurosurgeon
that will operate today. He is at O. U. Medical center,
fifteen minutes from home.
Frantic doesn't begin to describe the state I am in. I
come home twice a day to feed and care for poor Rex and
zoom right back to the hospital.
He landed in the street, hit his head on concrete and has
slight bruising and bleeding on the brain. The neighbor
men swarmed out to help and we left him lying there until
the ambulance came. I am surrounded with love and concern
from neighbors and the children and other relatives. Don't
worry about us, we are going to be fine. I will be in
touch when I know more. Love to all of you.
