Busy as the Proverbial Bee

The last of school events are constant. Adrienne's award
assembly was last night and she was a star. She is Captain
of the Academic team and they won state this year.

Ashley has a program tonight. I will probably have to go.
They are all eating dinner here because Ellie has physical
therapy tonight. I made two cakes before 8:30 this morning.

We have good news. Ted will be getting his back injections
soon. The results of the MRI were mailed to the pain clinic
today. He can hardly walk so he is really looking forward
to being better soon. Maybe even pain free.

AND..Fredo and Mike are coming to visit us and we are all
thrilled to death. They have never been to the Southwest and
we want to give them a taste of our southwestern culture and
cuisine. I tried to persuade Fredo that they needed to buy
cowboy boots while they were here but he says they are too
racy for an 82 year old guy. What do you think? I bet he
would be cute in them.

I took the injections. I hope they help. They did me no good, but the surgery saved me. I was in horrible pain and living on hydrocodone prior to my surgery. It was the only way I could get through the day.

I am so hoping the injections help but surgery is the next step. Sheplers is
great for cowboy apparel. Talking him into it will be a problem.

If you can't talk Fredo into the cowboy boots, maybe a western hat. Take them to Sheplers!!

Good news all around!

We can hardly wait.

I'm impressed about two cakes so early in the morning. The boots will probably go up to Fredo's knees.

I am a morning person. I had them out of the oven before I had to take
Ashley to school.

Hope the injections help Ted. I read in am edition of Florida Health Care News (while sitting in the waiting room of a hospital -- more on that in my next post) of a new alternative pain management treatment: human chorionic gonadotropin (jCG) that has been used in diet plans and it was accidentally discovered that it lowered pain from neuro problems as well. You might ask about that. Or Google it.

Meanwhile, yes, Fredo should get cowboy boots.

It is a thought. Ted has spinal stenosis and will probably need surgery
after we try the injections. At the present time, he can hardly walk.

How cool that they are coming to visit! I love it. I want to meet ya all as well. I think Fredo should get some boots. Why not???

It is cool and we are all voting for boots.

at least the boots will make me look tall.

It will make you taller and besides they would look cute.

We are thrilled and really looking forward to it. Jeremy and Jennifer are
going to have dinner with us the first night they are here. We will get to
hold Sofia.
