MY cousin is a fabulous cook and her desserts are the best.
The recipe for the best cake at the reunion follows. I was
pretty proud of my caramel German chocolate but it didn't
hold a candle to this one.

Easter Cake
1 box yellow cake mix prepared as directed. While this is
baking simmer l 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple and 1 cup of sugar.
when cake is done punch holes in it and pour the pineapple
mix over it. Chill,
Mix one 3 oz package of vanilla pudding mix and add one cup
of coconut. When cake is thoroughly chilled spread pudding
mixture on the cake, cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle with.
Tinted coconut
add few drops of food coloring to l/4 teaspoon of milk, add
more coconut and toss with 2 forks until tinted. This makes
a big beautiful cake and is so good.

We managed to go through a whole spiral cut ham and a lot of
brisket and this was the best dessert.
