I am just testing a couple of new statistical features here on MyBloggers. On the left sidebar, just under the "My Friends" section of each blog POST, you will notice a new section with the words "Visitors to this page also liked". This is a 3rd party utility that does this: "...suggests other pages on your blog or that may interest your readers. It does this using a sophisticated algorithm called Collaborative Filtering.
For example, a visitor to your blog may view one of your blog entries about coral reefs. Feedjit knows that 10 other visitors to your blog who liked this blog entry visited 2 other entries you wrote about coral reefs. So it suggests these 2 pages to your new visitor."
OK, another item I am trying out is on the front page when you click on the "Recently Online" button in the lower right. It is a mapping tool also by "feedjit.com". I am just testing these for the time being and may remove one (or both). I am not a big fan of 3rd party utilities on the site...especially ones where on-click a user is taken away, but these were kinda cool.
That is it for now...let me know if you have any comments. BTW, I have a question...How many of you go to the mybloggers.com home page on a regular basis? I am trying to better understand how users navigate around the MyBloggers.com website.
