Since my last post I have been very busy making updates to the MyBloggers platform. While most of you probably would not notice the changes, I have been prepping for better functionality as well as making small visual tweaks.

I did read all the comments left on my last post regarding future enhancements and direction. The biggest request by far was the photo upload ease and functionality. I totally agree, and will be making this and other changes soon. In the last week, I have increased some font sizes and generally made things prettier and more cohesive…but most of the enhancements was to the invite and signup functionality.

The life-blood to any community is its users. No one wants to come to dead community. So, with your help, I am requesting that we all try and get some new folks here on MyBloggers. I have placed a reminder at the top of the User Center with a link to the invite area.

The way it works is if you invite a user and they sign up, you both are connected as friends. For now, they must be invited to join. How much can we grow? Here is a link to a MyBloggers Viral Coefficient Calculator that will help you visualize the viral potential of an invite.

Remember, I am not making any revenue from MyBloggers, but feel as though a private community where users can actually have input on the features and direction of the network has its advantages. I do have a lot of plans for MyBloggers, but if there are only a few users using the platform, it is probably not worth the hours and hours it takes to maintain and enhance the things around here.
