The ex-wife was pretty rude, I think. But, even if someone says not to get them a gift - you can give them a gift in a different way - a donation to a charity they support, a gift card so they can buy what they need, not what you think they want, or a savings bond, money towards an education account, etc.
Shopping is fun, isn't it? So many cool gadgets. The paint I've used as an accent colour in my house is called 'Filtered Shade." I love the name, and luckily, I also love the colour. Sort of an olive green-beige-brown. Very antique looking, and just perfect in my house.
A Fur-Real friend? Very sweet! I've got 6 kittens ready to go to new homes next week...
I love my smart phone.
$10 bucks, wooo-hoo!
I love my cell phone, but, I hardly ever get any calls on it. I used it for email, as a camera, to keep phone #'s and addresses, to play games when I ave to wait somewhere, I can use the internet and Facebook, listen to music and audio books - and for emergencies.
I didn't even let the kids go into "West of the Moon." We visited Ruckle park, didn't make it down to Fulford. I have peacock feather earrings - my grandmother bought them on one of her trips to ... somewhere? Vegas maybe. but mine have beads on the bottom. Not everyday earrings, but they are cool.
I remember driving past that place now. At the time, I thought they were selling the cabins... the cabins looked so bright and new and out of place.
Cute place.
I hope the place at least had a nice view. The place we stayed at didn't have shampoo, conditioner, etc, and the bed wasn't the greatest, but the view was amazing, it was quiet, clean and only had a few squeaks in the floor. No jetted tub though...
