I just have some beets, broccoli and kale left in the garden. The frosts have killed everything else.
dead things & boobie nipples! Both very interesting to kids!
She reminds me of my grandma.
I half-fell in love with Nicholas Cage in the City of Angels movie. I feel your pain with the Meniere’s. I lost hearing in one ear, had BAD vertigo for 2 weeks, drove despite it because I had to, have tinnitus and popping in that ear, hear strange noises I can't place or figure out the direction it came from...
Although it's nothing like what you have with Julian, I have a similr issue with DD and clothes. No jeans, no clothing even remotely scratchy, or she freaks out and cries and complains about being uncomfortable. I'm always on the lookout for soft, stretchy pants for her.
Just found you.
Those places are heaven for kids, and hell for everyone else. Play on Bute?? "Bute" is a drug for horses.
These are tests to determine if you pass/fail high school? Very different from how it's done here. I can't imagine only 24% passing biology. I found biology one of the more difficult classes in HS, but I still managed a grade of 80%+ in Bio30.
That salmon should be extra yummy!
I've printed this recipe, and it's hanging on my fridge door. Will buy chorizo tomorrow, and make it with home grown purple potatoes (used up all the regular coloured ones for Thanksgiving), kale, onion and garlic, and home made chicken stock. Might have to take a picture of it. It's going to be an interesting colour.... I covered my brassicas with floating row covers this year, and it worked well until everything grew tall enough to remove the cover itself! Still got some worms, but the crop was far more edible. Mostly dried the kale for kale chips.
My "favorite" about gifts is when someone gives you a gift, then complains about how long it took or how many stores they checked to find it.
And I definitely know the brats run rampant thing. It's become a big problem with some of the groups at the library. I wasn't there, but I heard they got hostile when asked to keep the kids under control. Apparently they expected staff to babysit.
I'm sewing a sparkly orange dress for DD's halloween costume. It's fun to dress the little ones!
