Inside My Bungalow at the Mansion Bali

This is inside my bungalow (see previous post) at the Mansion in Bali.  The room is much older and nowhere near as luxurious and opulent as the Villa where my sister and I were originally booked but I didnt want to stay in the main building.
I wanted to be out in the gardens and the individual bungalows was a lot more "homey" and private. For the price of the villa we were able to get two individual bungalows which I preferred. I'm not used to sharing a room with anyone so this was a better option for me.
I just wish I took pics of the Villa room but didnt think of it at the time.

All beds have a mosquito net but I find them claustrophobic so I didnt use them.  I didnt have a problem with mosquitos in my room.

Inside the cabinet under the tv is a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a safe to lock up your ''treasures".

Moving from the Villa to a bungalow meant forfeiting a larger flatscreen tv, a few luxury items like ottomans, rugs on the floor, nicer light fittings and drapes....but nothing that would make me choose it over this one.

The door and window into the bathroom which you can close of course....that flash of light is the flash from my camera reflecting off the bathroom mirror.

Inside the room which incorporates the bath area, the vanity basin and through that little door is the toilet.

and this is the shower/bath which is made of polished granite or stone and is very slippery when wet.  You can fill it up to become a nice big bath or just use it for a shower.  They have the most luxurious, pure white bath towels and gorgeous little bottles with shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and body lotion. There's candles and incense for those romatic moments if you're there with your significant other.

If you would like to see more of this place, here's their website.

They have an amazing health spa where you get treated like absolute royalty in the most opulent surroundings and one of the treatments written up on their website was particularly fascinating and hilariously funny.....and NO, I did not spend the money for this particular treatment....I think it would be something more for ladies on their honeymoon perhaps????....lol.

There you go ladies and gents...a treatment to tighten it up.....lol.

This treatment is safe and patient will feel comfortable throughout 90 minutes procedure.

We start with acupressure and lymphatic drainage massage, a check-up procedure that detects any bad bacteria inside using herbal therapy, followed by vagina ozone and traditionally spices steam indulgence at the end.

By doing this treatment regulary, women know they are caring for themselves, and know they will have optimal health and a sense of well being. V Medical spa is also a natural yet powerful way to maintain the intimate relationship with partner, thanks to the traditional heritage herbal stick that has been proven and result guaranteed by many generations of women.

If necessary, patient will be referred for further laboratory check. Like all cancers, cancer of the cervix is so much more likely to be cured if it is detected early and treated immediately.

Okay, I know I shouldnt be making fun of this, but I couldnt help it.....I just wonder how many ladies actually have this treatment.....I'd be too embarrassed.....lol..

I think you made a wonderful, attractive choice, Maria! I'm glad you could stay where you were most comfortable. I like traveling with others, but it is so nice to have your own space. I'd love to see the gardens, too.

P.S. I'm having a devil of a time with Blogster's pop-up spam ads freezing my browser and sending my anti-virus into hyperalert. Are you having trouble?

The room is pleasant indeed and you didn't really take "a step down". I too would probably prefer the bungalow. The spa treatment sounds eerie. I'm going t olick on the link and get a look at the luxury rooms.
