After
the Hindu temples, on the way to Kintamani I came across these
beautiful rice terraces where a few tourist buses were stopped, so I
asked my driver to stop as well.
Appears it's a very popular tourist spot, there's little restaurants and souvenir shops everywhere.

Lots
of western tourists mainly from Australia and Europe. Not an American
in sight. Do you guys not know about Bali?????...lol.

This lady donated a bundle to have this photo taken...good for her!!!

There's
little gazebos all over the place where you can have picnics or buy
from the local restaurant and get them to bring your food down.

These are the few restaurants and souvenir shops at this place.

Then
it was back in my car and off to have lunch at Kintamani Volcano,
another very popular tourist spot with lots of restaurants overlooking
the wonderful view of the volcano and the lake.
Check out this view!!

Had a watermelon slushy while I was deciding whether to have buffet or order something off the menu.

While I was eating, this little turtle (yes, still love turtles..lol.) kept catching my eye.

Turns
out this little fellow is an ashtray. You remove his shell and the
ashtray is inside. It's neat because it covers up the cigarette butts
and the smell.

What a lovely view to look at while having a nice lunch.

Next trip, we're off to the Monkey forest!!
