Wine Lover

There's no rhyme or reason for this post. I just felt like admitting that I enjoy a nice glass of red wine before supper. Add a piece of Gouda cheese, and I'm perfectly content.

Not being a wine connoisseur (I love this spell check feature!), I'm not really picky about my brand. In fact, I go with the cheap stuff. I drink wine for the health benefits. A little buzz is an added bonus. I like that mellow feeling.

It's probably un-American to admit that I hate beer. Never did acquire a taste for it. But wine?--can't wait 'til about 5 o'clock.

I am fond of both beer and wine. Beer is required when you eat Tex Mex. I used to make wine and everyone seemed to like it.

I started drinking merlot a while back for the health benefits, and I'm with you, nice wine out of a box - maybe that's going too far on the cheap, but it works for me. It's handy to have around for cooking, too.

I love wine. I pick out my wine by the crazy labels. I miss wine, but come November I will be back to my glass every evening. I prefer wine to beer just for the fact wine is lighter on the belly and one glass makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

I don't like beer either, and really like wine... maybe too much! Oh, I can go days and days and never drink at all, but then I cannot resist the urge, and will drink almost a whole bottle during the course of a single night (about 6 to 7 hours). I drink while I play Scrabble, of all things! Guess this officially makes me a wino?

You and Hayduke seem to share this complicated impulse to "come clean" about yourselves... it's a kind of guilt phenomenon, I guess.

Blogging must have a purifying affect upon you guys. I can't wait till we get to the really good stuff!!
