Republican Can Go to Hell!

Not a day goes by that I don't want to spit on or give the finger to Republicans. And I don't care if I offend any of you like-minded ones out there. What is the matter with them? Where's their logic? Where's their sense of humanity?
Who made them gods? Why are they so spiteful?

Republicans in the House of Representatives (and they don't represent me), are proposing, moving, and (will be) passing laws that defy my definition of sanity.

The Republican-controlled House:
--voted to shield greenhouse-gas polluters from federal regulators (Friday). (Ted Poe, R-Texas)
--voted to shield privately owned colleges from federal regulations.
--voted to block federal funds from going to Planned Parenthood. (Mike Pence, R-IN) (Leading story on ABC News)
--moved to block the Obama administration from enforcing a proposed regulation setting requirements for schools in order for their student to receive federal loans or grants.
(John Kline, R-Minn.)
--proposed cutting budgets for the EPA, while allowing (for example) cement industries to continue emitting high doses of deadly mercury into the atmosphere.

Where are their priorities? Why are they so selfish? We know the answer--politics (to be elected).

It's not any better at the state or local level.
In my home state, "three bills that would make Indiana's abortion laws among some of the strictest in the nation moved forward (Thurs)." That will make us "One of the most pro-life states in the U.S." During the procedings, two Democratic lawmaker abruptly left the room after a series of testimonials based more on religion than science.

Again, in my state, the state Senate approved a bill (by a 38-12 margin) that would not allow local governments to regulate firearms, meaning it would be okay to bring a gun to a Colts football game, or any other sporting event! Is this crazy, or is it just me?????

We know what's happening in Wisconsin. Thankfully, the Democrats are listening to the Union workers, teachers, police, etc., and are fighting back in a method that displeases the Rebublicans (poor babies).

These atrocities are only the tip of the iceburg. If you watch MSNBC any evening, you'll get plenty more of the bizarro world of fundamentalist believing, righteous mouthing, hypocritical right wingers. It's enough to make one mad as hell, and sick as well. ( a little poetry to end my rant.)

Our new governor in Michigan is proposing cuts on par or worse than Wisconsin's. He seems he!! bent on balancing the budget on the backs of the lowest paid public service employees, teachers and cops, but hasn't said anything about judges or legislators. He even wants to eliminate all deductions from the state income tax.

Just wait until their l2 year old gets pregnant or they have a wasting
disease that stem cells will fix. I am just as upset as you are and feel
that we are fast becoming a theocracy..No wonder we have home invasions by
l3 year old kids who get Daddy's gun and want their very own flat screen.
Guns are way too available. I saw the thing on planned parenthood. It is
disgraceful.

Republican Congressmens' minds are so twisted, I think one of their sons could shoot 15 people, a daughter could get pregnant by a rapist, his minister could molest boys, and they would still be against gun laws, abortion, and gay rights, etc. Oh yes, and still argue we are a Christian nation. Help us all.

well have to study this.I am not sure where we are going with this.
Obama may have to veto some of the bill that is going through.
Time will tell.
Really do not have an answer to this.
Do not like the idea that they can carry gun to any actitivies that is going on.
They are also planning this here of the state of NH.
Planned parenthood:2 child for each family and that is it.(Good Luck with this)China does very well with this.

Actually, I think China still has a one child per family law. We'll see what happens in the next two years.

And you're not old enough to get cranky and cynical, like me!

Okay, take a breath, count to 10, then take your blood pressure--that's their plot--to have all the older folks have heart attacks and/or strokes and die so they can put more money in their pockets.
And, with all due respect, what did the democrats do with control of teh House and Senate--not very much for the middle class!

Yes, I know it's hard on my BP, but I can't help it. And with all due respect, I think the Democrats did much to help the middle class in the first two years of the Obama Administration. Health care, for one. Supporting both large corps (Chrysler, GM) and small businesses for another. And much more.

I know- it is genuinely insane. It gags me that people this small minded govern our nation.
