I was a bad boy this past week.
On Tuesday, I had a BK Jr. whopper with bacon and a Dr. Pepper for lunch.
Thursday, I had fried catfish and fries for supper. (I went out to eat with my father and one sister.) I brought one catfish home for a later meal.
And Friday, I ate a hamburger with baked beans, chips, and a coke. (on a golf outing, which, by the way, we came in second, and I won a nice umbrella. Everything was free, too, golf included!)
It was/is time for some serious rationalization. I figure I deserve to splurge every now and then. After all, I eat "right" at least 95% of the time. True, I probably eat too much processed cereal and have a cookie each lunch. But overall, I eat my fruits and vegetables, etc.
This just happened to be one of those weeks where everything bad occurred simultaneously. And to top things off, I'm going to my small town's "Summers End Festival" today, featuring more nasty, but delicious food. I'll try to be selective, at worst--or eat nothing, at best.
Starting tomorrow, it's back to tomatoes and cottage cheese.
Enjoy the weekend!
