Not Much

Just reporting in today.
Going to see 3 of my children this morning at my one daughter's organic farm. Sister Barb is going with me.
I will help pick beans or something--bad back and all.

I'm tired of green beans--I've picked, snapped, and frozen my own--enough for the winter. I made kale "chips" the other day. Yummy. Everything else in the garden, including weeds, is doing well. The 'coons are back for the sweet corn. Very aggravating.

Still golfing about every day (despite the aching back). I've lost 7 lbs this summer already. That's what exercise does.

My friend Stan lost one of his best friends, dead at 62 (I barely knew him). So Stan has been over several times (always without warning, which bothers me, because I'm usually busy) for condolences. Plus, he wants to brag on all his dating service girl friends he's seeing.

Speaking of which, I'm still in email contact with the one gal I had a date with a week ago. But I haven't asked her out again due to my involvement with my own family--never knowing what the plans will be. She understands (I hope).

Well, have a good weekend. Mine should be hot. Love it!

I'll weigh in too ... you are saying that only the lady can initiate future contact not you? If you do have her E mail, use it. Better to know sooner rather than later if she wants to see you again.

We email each other every day. That's a good sign. Still no second date planned, however. Patience.

Good luck with the lady friend. Be sure to call her too- not just email. And... enjoy your children!

I stood outside this morning and thought what a lovely summer day it is, if only it would stay about 76 degrees, it'd be perfect. Nothing wrong with 80, however.

Yes, the sunrises and sunsets, not to mention the full moon, have been spectacular lately. It's the haze in the air. Now, if it would just cool down.

Kristy's advice is good. Call your friend and make some plans.

She's never given me her phone number. One of those "warnings" some people are hung up on . She has mine, however! Plus emails.

Nothing worse than an ill-fitting sink. Hope it's all fixed by now. Enjoy your time at the beach. Lucky you!

Glad you two are keeping in touch! How long is your family in town for? You should plan something for then and let her know, that way she knows you are still interested, just busy. Enjoy the fam!

My new gal is busy, too. We're trying to find a good time to get together--maybe Tues. Thanks for the good wishes.

Weather hot only. Wish I had my pool again. When the kids left, the pool was torn down (above ground).
