My sister got out of the hospital on Monday and is doing better, but she's on some horrible medication to slow her heart rate and she has absolutely zero energy. It makes her weak and sluggish and she's having a hard time doing the things she has to do with the kids and around the house. She has to follow up with a cardiologist for further testing and diagnosis. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. I really appreciate it.
It's supposed to be a decent, yet chilly weekend here in southeastern Michigan. We're going to go get our corn stalks and pumpkins this weekend to decorate the yard and porch for Halloween and the fall season.
My kids are here for the weekend. Sara and I are going to go dress shopping for her homecoming dance. There's a football game to watch tomorrow (GO BLUE!) and euchre tomorrow night with a couple of friends. Our grand daughter will be floating in and out over the weekend as her parents work shifts overlap. (My oldest daughter Lauren just took a new position in the emergency room as a Medical Tech at the hospital she's been working at for 3 years now. She's soooooooo excited to be in the thick of the trauma that comes into the ER) Jake's got hockey on Sunday. And so it looks like a busy busy weekend.
Just the way I like it... (Sometimes... LOL)
I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!
