Missing Mom

My Mom was here for a week and it flew by way to fast.

My husband brought my son's twin bed from his upstairs bedroom down into my first floor office so my Mom wouldn't have to use the stairs, while she was staying with me.

She left on Saturday to go stay with my sister and I'll see her a couple of times before she goes back home.

It was great to have her here with me every morning. She's
so warm and loving. She says "Good morning Sweetie" to me when she hears me making coffee in the kitchen. We can talk for hours and hours about all kinds of "everything" and "nothing". She hugs me and kisses me alot and tells me she loves me several times a day.

She's the greatest Mom in the whole wide world. She knows how much I love her and how I'll try till my dying day to be exactly like her.

I miss her today.

Well, nor we know why you are such a warm and caring person: you had a great role model.

that you’ll get to see her a couple more times before she heads back.

I miss my mum [and dad] too…I reckon I’ll be ringing them this weekend…

Once in a great while a friend comes along who is almost as good as talking to mom, but as nice as that is, it's never quite the same.

I'm glad you had a good time. Moms are the bestI feel the same exact way about mine, and I'm sure your kids feel the same about you

I miss my mom so much, you have no idea. Cherish every moment. Sorry I haven't been around. Too preoccupied with everything going on.

I know what you mean. My Mom moved back to Kentucky about 10 months after hubby and I got married. We were over 1100 miles away from her and she was out there for 18 1/2 years. We were still living in New Mexico when she moved back there. Then we moved to Texas and was only 700 miles away from her but, still too far!! We convinced her to move back out here close to us about 8 1/2 years ago. I am soooo thankful she did. I do sympathize with you and so understand how you feel. It is so hard when they leave and you are right the visit just goes by way too fast!!

OH...this brought a tear to my eye!...I miss my Mother so so so much.
She too, like your Mother told me every day she loved me...and there were always kisses.
She would hold my hand a lot too..even when I became an adult.
I wish I still had mine...and I am glad you still have yours..
