Chili, Chilly & Chillier

CHILI:

I mentioned in my last post that I made a crockpot of chili yesterday. I'm telling you... it was soooooooo good... my husband and I both had a bowl as our breakfast this morning. I usually have a smoothie... (once I had ice cream, lol) but a steaming hot bowl of chili just sounded so fantastic. And it was. Warm, filling, and very satisfying.

CHILLY:

I forgot to turn the heat on before going to bed last night and we woke up to a 61 degree chilly house.

CHILLIER:

It's dang chillier still outside. I'll be back to chili by lunch I guess.

Brr... we had a light dusting of snow while granny-sitting at J's folks' place, but it immediately melted. I don't know... it still feels too early for the white stuff.

Sunday evening was cool. By the time the house went down to 65, when the furnace kicked in, we were all chilly.

i would like a big bowl of chili. but the way my husband makes it, it will set you on fire it is so hot. i ate a bite the first time he made it and never will again. lol

We had our first (record for October) snow a few weeks ago. Hopefully I'll get the leaves raked and the wood restacked before the next snow! I'm ready for spring... I can wait for summer!

Daddy get hungree lass nite and he cheeted on his gallbludder diet and eat sum ice cream. Then he get a big belly ake and hafta take some pill. He bad!
