Snowy days and Mondays... always get me down.

Yikes... it's only going to be a high of 38 degrees today.

What is UP... with that??

It was 72 degrees four days ago.

Geeze... give me a chance to get used to the change in weather.

There is a light dusting of snow in places and the freeways are full of accidents already this morning due to black ice.

My poor husband has a horrible cold. He's just sneezing ALL over the place and unless I simply "stop" breathing, I'm sure to inhale his germs... sigh. Today, he's insistent on going to work to spread his germs there. His co-workers will be so thrilled! NOT!


The weekend was fun. My husband and I played video games in the sunroom on Friday night. We're not very good, but it was comical to say the least.

Some friends (the boys) from high school came over to play Euchre on Saturday with my husband. I went to bed early. I think I heard the boys leave around 2:30am. Ummmmm... we're "not" in high school anymore, lol. I can't stay up that late. As a matter of fact, I got up around 4:30am to start my Sunday. (Hubby did not, lol)

Yesterday, I spent most of the day on the couch with my cozy down comforter... watching movies and made an awesome batch of crockpot chili. We ate it for lunch and dinner, lol. It was a nice and relaxing end to the weekend.

I'll catch up on work today and do some laundry. I don't think I want to step foot outside.
