More Than Just a Cat

He was loved and cherished
A bit of this and a bit of that.
He was a part of our family
He was more than just a cat.
Taking in the morning sun
Upon the window sill
He is now so very missed
And he always will.
When you cuddled him
He would softly purr
There was a sparkle in his eyes
And a softness to his fur.
He left us way too soon
And that made us sad
But we'll remember him
And all the good time we had.
He was nice and sweet
A bit of this and a bit of that
And we miss him each and every day
For he was more than just a cat.

Our pets are our children and it is so very hard to say goodbye. If I ever sell my house, the next owner will probably think we sacrificed animals because there are so many pet graves in my backyard.

We lost our cat 2 years ago. Had him for l8 years and he was a pistol. We have him resting in our back yard beneath the crepe myrtles. We loved that cat and each time we go to the ocean or a special beach, we take home a small shell and place it on his final resting place. Great memories and we are glad that his final place is in our view.

Tim: Did you just lose him recently? A good friend lost his cat yesterday and we are all dealing with that death now. It seems to come in spades. My condolences.

Yes we lost him Sunday morning..what a fathers day present.

Very nice Tim.So sorry .I know the feelings of losing a pet.
Most of us has gone through with this.Very nice remembrance for him.
Yes he was more than a cat.A member of the family.
