I have that night before Christmas anticipation feeling. I fly to San Francisco in 3 days and it's driving me crazy waiting for it to be here already. At least this trip was a surprise and I only have a few days to wait for it. Last night I went and bought a purse for the trip. Believe it or not, I did not own a purse. I quit carrying purses years ago when I got tired of carrying everyone else's shit for them. But I figured it would be good to have one to put my phone, camera and money in while we are sight seeing. Oh - and all of Honey's shit!!!
Last week, we started walking with some friends everyday after work. We go to a nice park close by that has a track around it. If you walk around 2 times you have walked 3 miles so that is our goal for now. To do 3 miles a day. It takes us a little under an hour and we have started picking up the pace a little every day. I know it's working because my ass and thighs are killing me. Now I just need to start the dieting part of the diet and exercise thing...
We went home and I made Sheppard's Pie. BAD MERANDA!!!
I told honey she better enjoy it while she can because as soon as we get home from Cal, we are starting back on Weight Watchers and slim fast. mmmmmm Sheppard's Pie. I brought some for lunch today.... BAD MERANDA!
And for what it's worth, I laughed out loud at the purse thing because IT'S SO F*CKING TRUE! Everything in the free world ends up in my purse..perhaps I should give them up, too....
