Drinking & Driving

As I was driving home from work yesterday I noticed a car on the side of the road that had been pulled over.

The cop had the driver over to the side doing a sobriety test on him and it was very obvious the guy was failing.  He was stumbling into the bushes and the cop had to hold him up.

I thought - "OH my God!! Can you believe that!!"


 

 

I want to be drunk at 3 o'clock on a Tuesday!!

You mean you're not normally drunk by three o'clock on a Tuesday?!I usually start power drinking as soon as the school bus pulls away from the driveway and I try to stay drunk until dinnertime at the very least.

Thank goodness they got him off the road! Although I had to laugh at your comment about wanting to be drunk on a Tuesday afternoon.

What I think of first is the children walking home from school and the buses! What a shame to have to be drunk any time of the day but to put others at risk is sick!

For real! I think they think they (that's a weird sentence, isn't it?) can get away with it during the daylight hours. Falling into the bushes.

I agree with matt in that I don't have any sympathy for someone who drinks and drives. I also think the laws are way too leniant. I lost my nephew to a drunk driver 2 years ago. People should not drink and drive..period!

I'm glad the guy was out of traffic and not able to put anyone in danger. I don't have any sympathy for people who drink and drive. DWI laws are way too lenient in my opinion.
