Whoah!

Things have been hectic at work today. Bleh!

I had an interview at noon and I am hoping it went well.

Last night driving home was hellascious. Traffic was miserable and I wouldn't recommend anyone travel via car on Thanksgiving weekend. A 6 hour trip turned into 8 1/2 hours. Not so fun.

After we finally got home, we went to drop off the car. R was going to fill the tank up so I said I would meet him there at the car rental drop off place. As I tried to start my car, I realized it was dead. I had asked him earlier if he had his phone on him since he was leaving earlier to get gas and such, he said yes. Well when I realized my car was dead I looked for his car keys which he had said earlier were in his bag. They were not there. I then called him to tell him I couldn't meet him, and then I realized his phone was home on the coffee table. Good times! I then called SB who was my saving grace. She pushed my car with her might and got me into a position where we could use jumper cables. It was raining and gross out. Ms. SB knew what she was doing and soon enough my car was running again. I finally got to R after thanking her profusely. He was patient as ever and asked me if I had lost my keys. haha I asked him where his keys were cuz I could have just taken his car to meet him, he said they were in his pocket. I replied "Oh, where your phone should be?" He chuckled.

This morning I dropped my Klean Kanteen and broke the top off of it. Good times indeed.

Happy Monday! That right there is an oxymoron at it's finest if ya ask me! :0)

Ugh... Thanksgiving traffic sounds brutal!
Well, happy Wednesday - you're halfway to the weekend.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down. You poor girl. Hope the rest of the week is better.

I read a joke the other day that said you might live in West Virginia if you carry jumper cables in your car and your girlfriend knows how to use them. This made me think of that and laugh. Then again, you're not too far from the eastern panhandle...maybe West Virginia has floated through your air or something.

Situations like that are the true test of a relationship, and you two passed the test. Congratulations.

Sounds like a fun time. BTW...sorry about the Kleen Kanteen. Those things rock. Oh tell R he's a lucky man. If I would have left my wife with a dead car, we wouldn't be talking right now.
