Things have been hectic at work today. Bleh!
I had an interview at noon and I am hoping it went well.
Last night driving home was hellascious. Traffic was miserable and I wouldn't recommend anyone travel via car on Thanksgiving weekend. A 6 hour trip turned into 8 1/2 hours. Not so fun.
After we finally got home, we went to drop off the car. R was going to fill the tank up so I said I would meet him there at the car rental drop off place. As I tried to start my car, I realized it was dead. I had asked him earlier if he had his phone on him since he was leaving earlier to get gas and such, he said yes. Well when I realized my car was dead I looked for his car keys which he had said earlier were in his bag. They were not there. I then called him to tell him I couldn't meet him, and then I realized his phone was home on the coffee table. Good times! I then called SB who was my saving grace. She pushed my car with her might and got me into a position where we could use jumper cables. It was raining and gross out. Ms. SB knew what she was doing and soon enough my car was running again. I finally got to R after thanking her profusely. He was patient as ever and asked me if I had lost my keys. haha I asked him where his keys were cuz I could have just taken his car to meet him, he said they were in his pocket. I replied "Oh, where your phone should be?" He chuckled.
This morning I dropped my Klean Kanteen and broke the top off of it. Good times indeed.
Happy Monday! That right there is an oxymoron at it's finest if ya ask me! :0)
