Waaaaay Too Early to Be Surrounded in Puke!

I was sleeping quite soundly when I was abruptly awoken by a heavy Kraymer paw to the chest, followed by a most rancid smell filling my nose. Bleck.

I woke up and turned on the light and noticed that I was surrounded by multiple piles of puke. um. Seriously?

Kramyer has NEVER puked on a bed in all 5+ years I have had him. Never. So what does my dog do? Waits to puke on the new comforter which I can't wash at home cuz it's HUGE and dry clean only. Excellent. After stripping the bed down to the mattress pad (he's a power puker apparently) and washing him since he had puke on himself, we are attempting to sleep on the couch, although I doubt I will sleep. I hafta keep the laundry rolling at this point... blankets, sheets, mattress pads, his bed which I made him lie in while I cleaned before I was aware he got puke in that too... bleh.

I called my local dry cleaner to see if they were open yet, alas they are prolly still sleeping... oh well.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I am tiiiiiired.

Gross. Was it something he ate, or is he just a sick puppy?

I hate when things like this happen. Big dogs do big puke.

Talk about waking up on the wrong side of the bed. Hope you get the comforter cleaned to your satisfaction.

That's a very rude awakening! So far Sarge still pukes in the little box - awesome btw - and Rigby in the doorway - don't ask me why she always picks a doorway.
Hope something great happens today to balance out the morning! Happy Tuesday!

Well maybe he could not get off the bed in time.
Buffy had a smiliar on,but this was poop and he could not make it outdoor.
He had diarrhea in his early youth. These things happen.
So what did you feed him prior to this accident.

No rest for the weary ... and puked on.

The boyz have an incident now and then, but thankfully, never on the bed! Good luck with the cleanup.

Good practice for when you have kids! Here's their scenario. They awaken in the middle of the night puking on their bed; they puke all the way down the hall; climb in bed with you and puke all over you and your bed!!! Take it from one who has been there. Sorry! It's a terrible mess for you I know!!And on your brand new comforter! Did he get into some people food? That makes our dog throw up quicker than anything.

Ewww. That sounds like a major clean up effort

Puke is the one thing I struggle to cope with (well that and the smell of dog poop!) I hate when my kids have a sickness bug - need that ointment the police use when they are investigating dead bodies - that might help.

Whoa. My poochies can puke but Kraymer wins.
