Should I Stay or Should I Go Now

That is the question running through my brain...

Temp agencies have called me from my resume - not ideal but it would get me by and guess what? It would be TEMPORARY! If I hate it I will go elsewhere...

I could find something else along the way.

Things always work out in the end, don't they???

Security is always nice... but you never know where new opportunities will lead. Just follow your gut, and it'll never steer you wrong. Best of luck!

I'm on the fence on this one. I'd hate to give up job security, not sure if I'd like moving and learning new routines all the time, but you hate your job..... hmmmmmm.... I got nothing

Things work out...but maybe not always the way you may want them to. Are you looking over a fence? If the focus is just to get simply something else
at random, you'll probably find out, the grass is the same on the other side. Find your dreams and get paid for them...that's real success and happiness...best of luck kristy. You have a hell of a lot of compassion and talent, you just need to wed them into your career...

Would Temping pay the bills? Or leave you more stressed?

I loved temping, its how I got my job at the college! I say go for it!

Temp means you can move around. Temp means they offer you insurance because you are full-time employee of a Temp Agency. Temp means if you hate the gig, you can take a different one. Temp means freedom and 'hey it's Tuesday. I don't wanna work'. Sounds good to me ...

what about insurance if you go the temp route?

Ya know, that might not be a bad idea. Definitely agree that it will help you search out a better work environment along the way!

Being a temp can be beneficial. You get exposed to a lot of different work environments, and people get to see how well you work. I know a couple of people who started out as temps and ended up getting hired by their customers on a full time basis. It could open some doors for you.
However, be wary that the work may not always be steady.
However AGAIN, everything good thing comes with a risk.

I think elfie makes a good point. The Temp agency doesn't have to pay your bills, you do.They have nothing to lose but you do,think about it.Laurie

One week working with two off is my speed.

Be careful with temp agencies hun., you may work one day one week and not work again for two or three. Be sure to get the specifics before you decide on anything..
