Hi party peeps!

Life has been good. We went to WI to see the fam damily which was nice. There were hiccups of course since it was family, but overall it was a good trip. It was nice to have the whole family together for the holiday! I got my two nephews an Eagles tackle buddy (a blow up thing) which they loved! I was sad to hear that it only lasted one day though. Oh well. I contacted the company I bought it from and was told it was a toy and not gym equipment so I left a negative comment for them on Amazon. This too shall pass!

We ended up getting a heck of a deal on the way out to WI. The flight was overbooked and they were looking for volunteers to give up seats. I went to the desk to find out more. Apparently they would give us each a round trip ticket to anywhere they flew and promised two seats next to each other on the next flight which was 2 hours away. I looked at R and said - let's do this! So we did. We ended up having two seats right behind first class so we had a TON of room! It was FANTASTIC!!! I was super happy with our decision! We ended up getting home on Monday without issue. The blizzard missed the DC metro area so we were lucky.

I am still working on trying to get the house together. I guess I never realized how ingrained laziness is in me though! I have a lot to do, but it'll get done, probably frantically on Friday afternoon. :0) At least I got most of the shopping done for the NYE Party on Friday evening. It should be fun, about 15 people or so. Sounds ideal to me!
