Amazing Weekend Workshops

I had so much fun this past weekend at a couple K9 Nose Work workshops. Wow! They needed more dogs on Saturday so I offered up Kraymerica, and he was a hit! He did so very well, and everyone watching loved him because he's such a clown. hehe I have a renewed faith in the boy! I also realized that in my journey to becoming a Certified K9 Nose Work Instructor I have 50+ hours of observing. It's time to start actually training! I am excited. I am talking to my boss about training in her facility on Wednesday. Should be a good meeting. I am excited about starting Spring classes. I am also going to see if she wants to offer "Walk and Train" type of package. I figure maybe a few clients would be interested in me working with their pups while they are at work. We'll see if it's a good idea or not in time. :0)

Happy Monday peeps!

It is wonderful to love the work you do. Rex sends a Merry Christmas to
the Kraymer dog.

Great news, girl! So happy to see your plans falling into place. And what a sweetie, Kraymer-head is!

I just adore him. I was also pleased that everyone else at the workshop seemed to as well. I even heard the comment "I can't wait to see Kraymer do this one!" after one set up where things looks to be in a state of disarray --- It warmed my heart.

Wish I could take Angel for a walk but she won't let me put a collar on her. I could walk with her and pretend I'm taking her for a walk but I won't fit through the hedge and I refuse to scale the fence.

You are funny.

I'm glad he made you proud. The owners of those walk and train dogs would have to have their own training session.
comment by troutbend on Dec 12, 2011 7:29 PM ()
Oh YES they would! I would do consults before and after training... for sure!

Walk and train sounds like a great idea for people who can afford it! Buster could certainly use it, and he's an old pup!

I am hoping it takes off, although I don't know what will happen.
