Retirement Is Too Far Away

Life & Events > Ah, Friday Once Again ...

Ah, Friday Once Again ...

Fridays are my favorite. Well, aside from the weekend itself of course... haha

Tonight I am bringing a bottle of wine (Yes! I remembered!) over to SB's and we are going to hang out and celebrate the fact that she is no longer in the 7th circle of hell. YAY!

I recently discovered how poor I am. I thought I was doing ok, but low and behold my budget sings a much different tune. Oopsy! I am quitting the gym. It was painful to see $42 fly out of my bank account right after the $600+ surgery for Kraymer. Ouchy. I don't use the gym enough to justify that much money a month (and not at all lately!) so the gym is gone.

I also realized that libraries are free. I loooove going to Barnes and Noble to sit and read, and I always end up leaving with books, but I really don't have the cash flow for that lifestyle at the moment. Silly. But true! So I signed R and I up at the local library and we are now card carrying members! yay! We are going to go this weekend, probably tomorrow. We have heard rumors that only old people go to these library things... haha

Last night R was out with the boys at Hooters. Then he went to a bar nearby for "a quick drink" at around 10. I was like cool, he might be home around 10:30! Silly silly Kristy. At 11:30 he came in. I looked at him. He was talkin to the dawgs. I was still looking at him. I was like why do you lie? haha I wasn't mad like last week at all, but I was like seriously, don't say crap that you aren't gonna follow through on. See, by a quick drink, apparently R meant many more than one. [ROLLEYES] This led to a very lengthy discussion about what he says and how he needs to try to be more on the ball with what he says and what he actually does... it's very inconsistent. But it was a great talk and I am glad we had it. We talked for at least an hour I'd say. :0) I love talking to that man, even if I am not happy with him at the beginning. I almost always am happy shortly thereafter! He's the bestest.

But anyways... YAY FRIDAY!!! Next week at this time my R and I will be in the Bahamas on a boat living large!!! Actually, I am quite certain that we will still be in bed. haha HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I am so jealous. We do well to go on one cruise a year. Love the ocean.
Here where so many people are poor, the library is always crowded. Movies, books and other resources make it one of my favorite places. There are lots of teens using the computers and the homeless hang out there to keep warm or cool as the case may be. Have fun!!!

Right, you do not need a gymn.Walking with the animals is
great. So much hyped on this gym thing and personal trainer.
Body pump etc. They are brainwashed into doing this.
Swim, walk, hike that is all you need.
Who want to bulk up,of all the time that I been to the gym
nothing bulk up,hmmmmmmmmust be my body style. But still cute

Yes, the Bahamas Anniversary Cruise is New News. And you tell us now?
Ya don't need the gym, you have a treadmill and Fit TV. Seriously look into picking up the DVD: Turbo Jam Booty Sculpt and Abs on ebay or something. It will kick your butt everytime you do it and it's only 30 min. It's like boot camp but a lot more fun!

Now why are you going to Bahamas again! Didn't you just do that! Shame on you and not taking me!

Bahamas!!!!! Where??? I LOVE the Bahamas!!!! That's where I took my final certification dives for scuba!!!!!
As far as "a quick drink" is concerned, haven't you ever gone out with a group of friends for a "quick drink" and had time get away from you? I know I have!
Also, there is no such thing as a "quick drink" at Hooters. Not with all of that eye candy!

does that mean I am old since i like the library! that is exactly why we joined, our book habit was becoming too expensive. and its nice, kota can play on the computer in the kids room while I search for books.
the bahamas!! sounds ideal!

Enjoy the Bahamas that will be great.

Libraries are great until my kids find the dodgy barney DVD's that they hire out for £1 a time - I hate Barney!!!!

Infact I used to work in my local one - it was a job I took when the hotel I worked in at 22 was going to have to get rid of 1 of it's 3 full time staff members. So the library job saved me. I wish I still did that now - a right cooshy number that was!! Stamp books, read books, shelve books, get paid - rock on!!
