    Well, they just couldn't wait till I was gone. Last evening, the new neighbors across the hall had the first of what I am sure will be many "domestic squabbles". Maybelleen rented the apartment to the girl originally, then here comes the boyfriend. Posted rules prohibit those who are not on the lease from living in the units. Maybelleen knows he's there but chooses to do nothing. So, anyhoo, they crank it up about 10pm and he leaves in a shower of swears and door slams. All has remained quiet since. Wheather or not he has returned is anyone's guess as I took advantage of the quiet and got some shuteye. I called Maybelleen when the fracas started and told her of the altercation...she advised me to go knock on the door and tell them to pipe down. Right. I am not crazy enough to insinuate myself in THAT mess. I may be dumb but I'm not stupid. But eventually all got quiet. I pro'lly should have waited before calling Maybelleen but she told me that she wanted to be informed of all major disturbances. So, informed she was. Everything that is happening seems to indicate that I am making the right decision about moving. 7 days and I am outa here. Whoo hoo!!
    Well, the postman brought some welcome news yesterday...for a change. My Social Security will increase by about $40 per month. Whatever will I do with all that filthy lucre. Guess I'll run out and buy that Leer jet I've always wanted and park it out by the pool next to the Mazzeratti. All joking aside though, it'll sure come in handy when I move to Cow Snot where I understand the cost of living is a bit higher. I do hope all goes well with this move. I'm still having trepidations although I know it's the right thing to do. I guess doubts are normal with any new endeavour. I am looking forward to the change, however.

Things are coming together for you! Gosh, the day is almost here. Guess we will hear from you next from the new digs! It's natural to be a little apprehensive of new things, but you'll love it. And, you won't have to do the manager's job of knocking on people's doors!
