Happy New Year, MyBloggerstown.

Well, as I sit here high atop the Shady Pines Senior Complex at about 9am, it is a whole 9 degrees out and snowing. Sigh. And I have to go out later to the Wrong Aid pharmacy to pick up some medication that they were out of yesterday. Ordinarily I would say forget it and wait for more clement weather but it is one of my 500 heart medications so I'd better go.


Briney Jr. is doing well. Made out like a bandito over Christmas, as did the other kids. I fear they do not know how lucky they are to have such big, fat, generous, pushovers for relatives.


Some unsettling news from back East. Mr. Bill, my old flame from Ra-cha-cha, has had some serious health issues. He's a real bad diabetic and he had to have a limb removed due to complications from this. He's only 59(or is it 60...I cannot remember how old I am let alone someone else). At last report he's feeling better and is getting fitted for a prosthetic. The more I think of it, the sadder it makes me. He's not a bad guy, really. Just has horrid tastes in girlfriends.


As for me, my aches and pains are being exasurbated by the cold. I just paid last month's outrageous heat bill and it gets frigid again. It's all a plot, I say. To keep yer own Bugg in grinding poverty.
