Happy Memorial Day, MyBloggerstown:
Well, I think spring has finally gotten around to us. Leaves are appearing and the flowering trees are ariot in color. The prairie is greening up and I think I actually smelled some lilacs yesterday. It's still cooler than normal which argravates my lingering bronchitis but there is hope at last.
It is the graduation season and my little niece Daisy May is having a ceremony on Wednesday. She is graduation from kindergarten to first grade. First grade! Jees, how time do fly. I'm sitting here with the soundtrack from "Fiddler on the Roof" coursing through my head. "Where is the little girl I carr...ied" Wait, I have something in my eye.
The tourist season is getting underway here in Cow Snot. You can tell by the number of out-of -state plates and motor homes planted in the Wally World parking lot. They bring much needed dollars into the town's economy but they are such a pain. You can't sling a dead cat without hitting one of these fringed shirted, new levi's wearing, ten gallon hat topped morons. Ah, well, its only all summer.
Well, as soon as this damn fog clears, I guess I'll go over and see if I can't talk the fam damily into a cookout.
Have a good holiday, everyone.
