A Constitutional Tutorial:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no warrents shall issue, but upon probable cause supported by oath or affirmation and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized."

Fourth Amendment, U.S. Constitution

The House of Representatives meets in a secret session, which is highly suspect, to discuss Dubya Dumbass's spy bill that will extend the gub'ment's ability to snoop through your private phone records and God only knows what else. This noxious piece of legislative horseshit will also indemify the phone companies from being sued for releasing your personal information to whatever jerkwad gub'ment agency who wants it. Dubya sez he wants to keep America safe. Well, who's gonna keep us safe from you, you sub-moronic power grabbing empty suited nazi. I strongly urge all to contact their member of Congress....and tell them to stop being spineless, balless wimps, stop kissing Dubya'a ass and calling it a fudge sundae. Demand that they stand up for our Constitution, as they swore before God that they would when they took their oath of office ("...to preserve, protect and defend the Constition of the United States of America..." remember that phase?). Our precious freedoms are being slowly whittled away, ladies and germs. Our beloved republic has been savaged and is trying to cover herself with the tatters of the Constitution. We must stop this madness and return America back to its foundation. We are a nation of laws. And all our laws are based on this one shining, glorious document....The Constitution.

Along the lines of Jondude's Ben Franklin quote, I recently read something that said something along the lines of this: Giving up one's freedom has never made anyone MORE secure." What they're doing is not only unconstitutional, it's illegal and immoral.
Okay, I'm done ranting on your blog. I wonder if the new "laws" will stand forever and only get more invasive over time. As has been pointed out many times, taxes have never been rolled back, even the "temporary" ones.

is that the "closed door" meetings they are talking about on the news. I hope someone is taking good notes!

I am for a complete change. Let's get the old corrupt politicians out of office and take back our country. I think O'Bama is the man for the job.

I thought Bush suspended the Constitution completely while he was in office!

I'm really upset about this bill. I'm also upset about the one that says in case there is any emergency, he can stay in office till the danger is over! That really bugs me (sorry buggs)

Jondude's Ben Franklin quote is perfect. I might add, however, that they can search my phone records all they wish, there ain't nuthin there worse than me hanging up on telemarketers.

Just wait until November, Bugg! The rats will be scurrying to make sure they have good lawyers after the next inauguration day!

oh there is a quote I want to say so bad right now but I can't remember it! It's about you can have either freedom or total security, but not both. SAD!
